18 years ago I landed at JFK Airport for the first time ever. I was alone, and scared, but tried standing tall. Now, 18 years later, I am no longer alone, no longer scared and I am standing tall. I am also utterly proud of myself and grateful. Coming from Poland was difficult, but at the same time, it was an amazing opportunity! I brought to America part of my culture, by opening my own business alone, while being a single mom and raising my little girl. Not only did I open the spa, the Saltana Cave (www.saltanacave.com), I got my college degree in Human Resources Management. So many people, including my beloved daughter, have played such an important role of this growth, and I sincerely thank everyone and God from the bottom of my heart.
