My grandfather came over to the United States from Mexico through the Bracero Program in the late 1940's to support our family back home. Later on, my father also came to the U.S from 1970's to 1980's made a couple trips to work and finally decided to stay and bring our family over to be reunified. My grandfather and father had to face many struggles coming to the U.S. to work, but through their struggles taught my generation how to me resilience and work hard to achieve our dreams. Now I am able to pass on these teaching to my children and hopefully, they will pass it on to future generations.
I am a proud immigrant person working to improve my next generation's life.
